The pealing seemed like it never ended!
Filling the jars, these are pears not fingers.
Getting closer.
By the time we were done it had been over 4 hours, we were a tired bunch. But the finished product looked so pretty. Thanks for all your help Whitney!
Round two of canning went much faster and Nicole (and Steve) joined us!
One happy kid and his pear!

I Love My Son!!! You're Great Sweety!!
Sorry I missed the pears. Looks yummy-and you get to enjoy them all year!
i wish i had gotten in on the action but there's always next year if you guys decide to brave the pears again :) i LOVE that picture of kaleb - such a happy little boy and soooo cute!
I chickend out on my pears at the last minute and now Iwish I hadn't cancelled my order. I just thought mine would go to waste, Sad!!!! I am in for your next round of pears, I can't wait!
thank you SO much for helping me!!!!! I can't wait to eat my pears:):)
Nothing like a fresh pear to get a child to smile. Love it!!! Now you have to try peaches, apples, tomatos, jam and everything else.
Like I have said before, I am so impressed with your domestic skills! Pears look like a lot of work!!! But I'm sure they are yummy and definitely worth it with a smile like Kaleb's!
(I'm so happy Kevin loves his son :). Way to be domestic! I've never tried to can anything and I'm ultra impressed with your skills.
