Haloween was a Blast!

Our ghost and skeleton, love these faces!
We had a great time this Halloween! I loved seeing their excited faces and happy skipping throughout the day! I was a little unsure that Kaleb was going to wear his costume after being so indecisive the weeks leading up to it but when he went to put it on he was so excited. He said "this is the most best costume I have even had!" Even though Halloween is a bit of a silly holiday I sure loved seeing him so excited. At our ward trunk or treat he zoomed right through all the cars and did not want to wait for his sister. When he was done he ran back to the car where Dad was passing out candy to show him all the good stuff he got. Since Kevin ran out of our candy Kaleb started passing out his own to the kids.  Avery loved the idea of getting candy from people. Starting at the ward party she would walk up to anyone with a basket and reach for their candy. I guess the trunk or treat thing is confusing, people standing in a row (by their cars) with bowls giving out candy. Everyone who had some would give her more of course. While we were cleaning up she would not let go of her candy. We finally had to tear it out of her hands when it was bed time! Avery loved her costume too. She was all smiles when she saw the big skirt. Once it was on she began to twirl and dance a little. So cute! This year was a busy Halloween we had our ward trunk-or treat on Saturday, Kaleb had a party at school on Wednesday afternoon, then we went trick-or-treating on main street with Jared and family, then home for dinner and then out in the neighborhood to trick or treat and visit a family in the ward who has movies, hot cocoa and scones. What a fun family day!

Silly faces!

We are horrible trunk or treat decorators, oops!

Tick-or-treating is hard work, break time with the Birthday girl!
