Time Sure Does Fly!

I have been horrible about keeping this blog and our family journal of sorts going. So here it goes! We were living in California and loved being by my side of the family and the warm weather but things were not going great for Kevin's job so we took the opportunity for him to work in partnership with his brother. I also was offered a part time job in public health and so we packed our things and moved. It was sad but good all at the same time!

In August all the Y clan was together. The kids loved all the cousins to play with and the fun activities that were planned. Kaleb has grown up a lot, he plays so well with others and I loved hearing him and his cousins play. With everyone there and all that was going on it was hectic but I loved being around these great people I get to call my family!
The whole crew!

We wanted  a family picture too but someone wanted to play!

All the grand kids, almost everyone was looking!

Of course a beach trip was in order. Kaleb could play all day in the sand. He just loves it! He gets a great tan too. Avery takes a little longer to warm up to the sand but once she gets the hang of it she loves to sit with a pail and shovel. She has started to get brave when it comes to the water and will walk out in it. She got knocked over hard on this trip and was not too happy. Apparently I didn't really get any cousin pictures at the beach, oops!

We picked Kevin up from the airport (he was in UT) and the kids could not get enough of him. When he first got in the car they were so excited to see him that they just wanted to touch him. Kaleb used his feet just so he could touch him. It was too cute! They sure love their dad.

Avery was trying to be "cool" in the car! Wearing moms glasses and trying to do a thumbs up.

This summer was hard. We were living in CA while Kevin was in UT trying to get his practice up and going. He would travel back and forth to see us. The kids and I swam everyday, played in the back yard, went to the library, and hung out with friends and family.
