Kaleb and Avery Update

 These kids are growing fast and changing everyday!

This summer Kaleb loves to go swimming, he loves taking care of the chickens (especially since now they are laying eggs), he loves playing with his cousins, he loves helping Grandpa with yard work and he loves his little sister. She is his little shadow. She loves all things Kaleb and will copy anything he does, good or bad. Avery is growing like a weed. She is still a picky eater, getting more hair and her chubby legs are getting long and kid like (no more baby). She seems to have gotten all of her canine teeth recently giving her a full mouth. She seems to say new words everyday today she said "cute." She loves the pool too and has no fear. She jumps in the deep end and loves to float on her back.

Kaleb loves to talk to Avery in a baby voice. It is so cute. He bends down low and says things like "I'm going to give you a hug now, k." They he waits for her to reply with a "k" Kaleb loves to help her and she loves her brother. Avery calls Kaleb "laylub" and I love it! She also says "mammy" for Grammy, we think its adorable.

Kaleb was outside working and feeding the animals (he pretends that we have a zoo outside) so when he came in he was quite red in the face and a bit sweaty. Grandpa told him to go to the bathroom and wash his hands and face to cool down. When I saw him heading there he told me what he was doing and then told me not to touch him since he was sweaty and had "tears" dripping down his face.
 

Avery is now able to open the fridge, climb on the table and counter and open the junk drawer. Not good, yesterday she got out a Sharpie, opened the cap and then came to show me.

These two love to dance and run and even sometimes tackle each other. My favorite sound to hear is them playing together. They are becoming such good friends! Kaleb even said to Avery yesterday something about them being friends. It was cute but then he said "we are best friends, best friends forever." Talk about melting my heart! These two sure make life good!
