On another note, life is good Avery is finally starting to sleep better, meaning I get more than 4 hours of sleep at a time, I am loving that!
Kaleb is as busy as always. He loves to take baths and spends quite some time playing and splashing. Lately he plays Diego and pretends to be a humpback whale. He splashes tons of water all over our little bathroom. It usually takes several towels to clean it up.
And here are the two together. Kaleb loves his sister and always asks to say hi to her when she wakes up. He is a good helper and will sing twinkle twinkle little star to her if she is fussy or will try and shh her to get her to calm down. I recently left her playing on her back in the front room while he was watching a show. I was gone minutes when I came back to see him pulling her by the ankles across the floor. He jumped and stopped immediately, silly kid!

Cute pictures, Avery is getting so big!
I was going to post a few tips but then I realized, I really have no idea what I did when I had babies. You just make it through until the kids are old enough to entertain themselves for a few minutes so you can get more done :) The only things I can think of are cleaning little bits here and there during the day, and early bedtime and going grocery shopping alone when they were asleep.
I never did most of the things on your list (i.e. reading, crafts, even playdates!) until the kids were older. You are right, none of us can do it all, its all about prioritizing.
I have been having major troubles with this so when I was back home over the break my mom helped me set up schedule and 6 week meal plan. I can send you the meal plan if you want it. My schedule basically has me doing one load of laundry a day so I don't get overwhelmed with it and doing one chore a day right when I first get up... I should be doing one right now! During Nap/quiet time is when I can do the things I want to like crafts, facebook and what not. It is still a work in progress here but things are slowly changing here! Good luck! Oh, I also can't face grocery shopping with three kids a lot of the time so I make sure I can do it with Daniel!
I just can't believe how big those cuties are getting. I don't know how some mothers seem to get it ALL done either. Sometimes I let the house go. And just play with the kids. It seems if I get up even 1/2 hour earlier than the kids I get quite a bit done, at least scripture reading uninterrupted and that make a big difference in my day. I hope that you can figure something out. My friend has a rule that she spends 10 minutes in each room each day and says her house never gets bad.
I have to agree with Allison, that it takes a good long while after having a baby to get back on track and you just have to let some of those things go!
I definitely think being organized helps a TON, having chore charts for the kids has helped ME keep on track with the chores and make sure they are done, I think it is important to do some play dates, but I don't do a ton of those until they are older. I think learning time should be scheduled too and there are so many good websites that help with the preparation of that! I think workout time is something that husbands need to help with and can be a REALLY good thing for moms to get out of the house and feel good about themselves!
Meal plans are really good like Chelsea said, I do two, 2 week meal plans that include grocery lists all typed out so I don't have to think so much.
Laundry-I also agree with at least one load done per day, then it doesn't pile up so much! I put the clean clothes on my bed and then put them away before I get in bed.
Reading-I honestly do this mostly when going to the bathroom (TMI!) but hey, a few minutes here and there and voila! I've read a book. ;)
Overall, I think what helps ME feel the most accomplished is to make a list each night before bed of things to do, and then finish the day knowing I accomplished something. That makes me feel so much better!
Hooray for Avery sleeping longer!
Sorry for the super long comment. :)
