Messy Masterpiece

Kaleb loves to paint but since it is a messy activity we don't do it nearly enough. Here is Kaleb starting out, so delicate and careful with the paint. He kept telling me "dirty, ucky." I had to keep encouraging him to use his fingers since he is use to painting with a brush.

But it doesn't take him long to get into it and really make a mess, I mean a masterpiece!

We only had one bump in the road when he placed a bunch of paint on the paper and then proceeded to slap it, spraying paint all over the place! He is an artist so all I could do was clean it up.

A few Kaleb moments...
- While sitting at the table with Kaleb having breakfast I said "Kaleb mommy loves you" to which he shouted "No, no no! Daddy loves Kaleb" I am glad he knows his dad loves him!

- We have been trying to get Kaleb to sleep in his toddler bed but apparently the crib is still appealing, we found him in the crib after putting him to bed in the toddler bed. He pushed the bed across the room right up to the crib and climbed in. Funny kids, I really should have taken a picture.

-After a great nap Kaleb said "c-mon mom, follow me" as he pushed his shopping cart full of random toys. So I did and asked him where we were going. He told me that we were going to the beach. Okay, so when we got to the front door we sat down and started talking about the beach. Kaleb then pulled something out of the basket and asked me if I wanted some "fruit?" and then some "pizza" and would I like "wader or milk?" So we ate our food and talked about the waves and sand. Then Kaleb wanted to get up and go to another beach, and so we did, at the end of the hallway. It was so cute to play and pretend. One of his favorite books from the library at this time was Will and Mama Go To The Beach, I guess that is where this all came from. I loved it!

-Kaleb apparently has been told a time or two not to touch the computer because the last few days if I get on the computer he says to me "No touch, no no no, no touch daddy's computer" I guess I better listen!
