Farwell Utah Department of Health (UDOH)

Today was officially my last day of work. I am excited and grateful to be able to stay home with Kaleb. But for what seem like forever my work has in part defined who I am. It may take a while to admit that I am not going back to the Department of Health. I know that when it comes down to it most of all I am going to miss the friendships. And a small part of me is going to miss seeing my work/projects make a difference. Goodbye are the days of cubicles, meetings and Grubbins (cafeteria) and hello are the days of Motherhood!

It's too bad that we define ourselves by our jobs. I know it was an adjustment when I quit working a few years ago. Motherhood will be GREAT for you!

You are going to be missed greatly!!!! But appreciate the time you won't have to be worrying about Kaleb (and Kevin) ;) This is going to be a good change, so enjoy it!!!

It's an adjustment, but you will end up loving staying at home! Make new friends and playdates (they are more for you)! Good luck!!
