It is true we have been very absent from this blog but we are alive and well! Kaleb is loving Legos and I love them too!  Kaleb has become quite the "worker!" He loves to work out in the yard. He has a lawnmower, edger, weed-whacker and a few other tools. He even got Grandpa to give him a pair of his ear muff things! Our little Girl is ONE! It is hard to believe Avery joined our lives one short year ago! I can't imaging life without her. Avery is 3 months old. At her three month check-up she weighed 10 lbs exactly and was 21 inches long. This put her in the 17th percentile for weight and 20th percentile for height. Kaleb loves to help in the kitchen, weather you like it or not! He usually does a great job dumping the ingredients into the bowl. Yesterday we decided to make some cookies. We decide to have a night out and take Kaleb to the pool. He was a little grumpy at first but quickly warmed up. He loved going down the kiddy shark slide, splashing in the waterfalls and he especially loved going down the large waterslide with Dad. Here is what we have been up to. A great miracle has occurred! Changing Kaleb's nap schedule to one nap a day has helped him wake up in the morning during the 7 o'clock hour and not 5 o'clock hour! Apparently this is what happens when you spend hours upon hours in a lecture hall. Actually Kevin is just resting between classes (notice the empty chairs around him). Kevin is a great student. I love that he is hard working, dedicated, and always excited to learn!

We love to go camping and backpacking but have not done any since having Kaleb. So when our friends the Gunther's (who have a 11 month old) invited us to join them we decided it was a great time to give it a try. We headed up near Mt. Hood to Mirror Lake.
